During my internship at HarperSage, I worked closely with designer, Megs, to create new interiors, digital postcards, and physical and digital calendar prints. For the postcards, I was asked to study the exterior of the 1800 block to illustrate. I began by taking photos and then mocking up sketches in Procreate. The main visual goal of this project was to give a hand-drawn appeal. The brand HarperSage focuses on hand creation, and the shop also features work from local artisans. I kept the content more simplistic to keep all the shops in a similar form. The top version was an idea of my own to give it all a pink filter which then leaves you to the details to decipher the shops rather than colors. The bottom version is the visually accurate version of the exterior.
